Olivier Ballou
My two great passions have always been design and politics. Throughout my career, I’ve helped organizations use visuals to get ideas across – whether through graphics or video.
I’ve worked as a visual communications professional both in the political world and in the private sector. I’m currently head of communications for the Manning Centre, a conservative non-profit based in Calgary. Prior to this, I was at the Ottawa office of Hill & Knowlton – a global communications firm. I worked on Parliament Hill for Canada’s Conservative party, helping the Prime Minister’s Office with messaging as well as visuals. I also analyzed public opinion data for pollster Praxicus Inc.
Born and raised in Val-d’Or, Quebec, I speak French and English, as well as Russian. I obtained my master’s degree in Political Communication from the London School of Economics.
