Corporate vs. Comic

I pride myself on producing work that looks modern and polished – after all, that’s the image clients want to communicate. However, let’s compare an example of modern corporate design by PR giant Edelman with its polar opposite: a photocopied, sentimental graphic novel by Toronto writer Walter Goschen (warning: rude language). I personally find the comic captivating because it looks and feels so authentic. What can comms professionals learn from this medium?
